...and I have to say, this is the best thing ever! At least for menstruation, anyway :P

I had very little trouble inserting it, and getting it to pop; even the first time, it only took me about 2 minutes- tops (now it takes me, maybe 30 seconds). I was a little worried it might leak, seeing as the sides weren't perfectly round (me being the paranoid person I am), but I decided to give it a go and see if it worked. Surprise! No leaks!

The whole week, I've only had 2 little leaks- just enough to spot my underwear, no more. And the first spot was probably merely because I didn't have my cup in when my period started. No discomfort, either, though the thought of an empty space inside me was kinda weird- that's probably just me, though. It's been great: going to class, doing taekwondo, running around, climbing trees, not once did I notice the cup at all! Taking it out had the barest tinge of discomfort, but I've had worse from sneezing.

I am so pleased with what cloth pads and now the diva cup have done for me; 2 years ago, I was spralled on the bathroom floor, having the worst cramps of my life. This period, I didn't have a single one! And it's so convenient, too! There's nothing to throw away, there's nothing to wash! I no longer feel the sudden gush of fluid, no longer do I have to sit on a wet pad until class gets out and I can change it! All I have to do is empty it, rinse it out, and pop it back in! It's so great!

I think a lot of my success is due to how comfortable I am with my body, my confidence, and to all the information I gathered from the posts on here! So thank-you, everyone, who has ever posted on here! You made this a wonderful experience!

I've used the cup for over 3 years now and I sort of forgot what I experienced before.

You mentioned the gushes and sitting on wet pads and it all came back. I have trouble believing I spent about 10 years full of insecurity when my period came, because of leaking, cramping, gushing and wetness.
So so so happy with my cup now. I don't ever want to switch back!

And yay for your success!
