Bought Diva Cup!

Hello all,

I've been a lurker here for a few weeks, and I decided that, hey,  it seems to be time to give myself a little introduction.

Well, I'm a 22 year old Woman, and I finally got around to buying my Diva cup this morning! I used Lucky Vitamin.Com
Such a good price as well!  12 dollars off of the Retail Price..

I lived with two women who had them, and I've used it before, with fantastic results.. Although, I prefer to use the larger size (one of the perks of living with two women of different ages, they had one of each)
I find that the larger size is less prone to leakage for me.

I did have a keeper at one point.. but i didn't even get to use it, because in the dry run it made my lady parts itchy and irritated after only 10 minutes  (we think i am allergic to the latex).

I am just SO glad that I finally got around to buying one of my very own.. (thank God)

My mother and my sister are both like, "oh how GROSS!! why would you stick that thing up inside you to catch blood?!?!?!?!"

I just laughed, and said,"Well, you stick tampons up in there, Don't you? and what, have to take them out every 2 hours?Mine i don't have to empty for at least 5, sometimes even 12.. and mine has no waste that fills our landfills, or clogs our sewer pipes."

I want to go to the local high school and, promote the idea of the diva cup.. but i don't know how to go about it.. Has anyone done it before?
I used to be the Student assistant in my health class the final year of school, and the teacher still seems to be teaching..

Does it seem like a horrible idea? or do you think that it would be a good one?
