i am going to have a surgical abortion tomorrow morning. i am ten weeks pregnant and living in denmark. the information pamphlet i got from the hospital says not to use tampons for the bleeding that will occur after the abortion. i'm wondering, can i use my cup? i haven't used pads in years, frankly can't really afford them right now, and i'm just so comfortable with my divacup. i'm hesitant to ask the doctors, because they're already disdainful of my knowledge of health as an american and i'm not sure they'd be familiar with the cup anyway. i'm guessing it's a no-go, but has anyone had experience with this?
