I just ordered a divacup!
Hi! I ordered a divacup online a few days ago, and I am *super* excited. I hate tampons and pads and I am rather fond of a healthy environment, so it seemed like a good decision.
I have a question thoughhh (and this is probably the first of many, so thanks and sorry in advance, haha)
Tampons give me really bad cramps. If I don't use tampons, (which is almost never; I generally refuse to wear pads) my cramps are very tolerable and I only have to take ibuprofen once or twice on the first day of my period, and I'm fine. But whenever I insert a tampon, my cramps multiply by 20 and I take 400mg of ibuprofen every few hours just so I don't spend all day in bed.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something this, and if a menstrual cup helped at all? Or, do cups cause cramping just as tampons do?
