Hi guys.

I've been using a Meluna Sport medium for a little over six months now, and it's the most amazing thing ever and I cannot believe it took me so long to switch from those horrible leaky tampons!!

Anyways...

So.. I really REALLY enjoy penetration, and have been missing it a lot during my period over the last few months since I got a new partner. I've been wondering about trying the Instead Softcups, but I can't find any posts from people using them with strapons. I know they say you can use them with penetration, but my experience over time has shown me that penises and dildos react somewhat differently.

So basically I'm wondering if anyone has any experience and can tell me if this is a viable solution?

Thanks

Since it's the Instead Softcups you're wondering about, I'd suggest trying it out. A firmer cup might not work as well, but those are basically like little baggies with a firm rim, so they're not nearly as likely to clash. Maybe go gently at first and see how it goes. I'd experiment for you, but I'm too cranky to even think about it!

I really don't see how they would be a problem. I use them for sex all the time, but have no strap-on experience. They are extremely, extremely thin so unless it somehow hooks on the strap-on I think you'd be ok.

I think the main difference would be that the strap-on lacks physical feedback, so start slowly or with you in control.

Yeah, that's pretty much my concern with it. I will order some and give it a try! Thanks.

I have a bunch of softcups that I'd be willing to mail you, if you're in the US. They're from this year, and just sitting in a drawer because I personally don't like them.

Unfortunately I'm on the other side of the world. Thanks for the offer though!

If you still have the softcups and don't want them would you consider sending them to me? I am in california. I recently got a sample pack that had 2 soft cups in it to test out for sex (I'm a diva cup user) and I honestly love them for sex but I can't seem to find them in any stores near me. Plus they are a little expensive just to use for 45 minutes and throw away. I understand if you don't want to send them but id appreciate it if you don't want them :)

And to answer OPs question I don't think there would be any problem using them with a strap on. Ive never used a stap on but my husband couldn't even feel the soft cup so it's really not in the way. I can't think of any reason a strap on would react differently than a real penis.

I have no experience with strap ons, but use my Fleurcup for sex all the time. I empty it beforehand, just in case. I can frequently hear it squelch, but I don't experience leaking or other displacement from sexual activity.

Thanks. This is somewhat reassuring. My plan at this stage is pretty much to put it in for sex and then swap it out for my Meluna again afterward.
