ACK
I was putting in my Keeper tonight and it unfolded before it was in position.
I'm FREAKING OUT that I pushed a whack of air into my vagina and that I'm not going to wake up in the morning because of an embolism.
(A friend of mine died of one not that long ago, and it hit me really hard!)
What are the chances of getting an embolism from air in the Keeper??

For me, CFS has been an interesting run. People (read: doctors) pass everything that goes wrong with me off as CFS. *sigh*
What are the treatments for candida yeast? I'm already doing the acidopholus regimine daily.

I know exactly what you mean. After 5 years I and the doctors had given up. It was just on an off chance that I went to this chiropractor who also did lots of other alternative treatments involving nutrition and environment. Basically to get rid of the yeast (which is not the same as a yeast infection) you need to go on elimination diet. This means no sugar, yeast, and anything else you may be reacting to. It's much easier to do with supervision because there are tests to figure out what foods are aggravating you. Working with a doctor you also get the benefit of nutritional therapy (ie herbal pills) that help speed the process of elimination up.

To give you an idea of what the diet was like for me here is the list of no-nos as far as I can remember...
no yeast (so the only bread I could eat was sourdough or matzo)
no sugar
1 fruit a day
no peanuts (mold)
no mushrooms (mold)
no oranges, lemons, limes (grapefruit was the only non-reactive citrus fruit)
no milk products
no wild rice
no tomatoes

I know there was more but it's been a long time since I had to do the elimination diet. I think I mostly lived on almond butter sandwiches on sourdough bread and plain pasta. It took about 6 weeks total and then I could eat everything again. It made a huge difference in my life.

I'm not sure how to find the kind of doctor I use but my doctor's website is http://www.drraw.com if that helps.
